We are counting down to the 1st game of the 2015 NBA Championship between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.

The first game will be on Thursday, June 4, 2015 and the tip off time is scheduled to be 9:00 PM, ET and the host will be the Golden State Warriors.

How advantageous will home court advantage be for the Warriors? Let's wait, watch and see.

Both teams are enjoying a long layover before the first championship game, after relegating their opponents (For the Cavaliers it was the Atlanta Hawks and for the Warriors, it was the Houston Rockets) in the playoffs to season retirements.

The first game night reminds me of July 4.
