The 2016 Democratic National Convention

Yes! The Democratic Party kicks of their convention in the City of "Brotherly Love" Philadelphia, PA on Monday, July 25th and it will end on July 28th..

The event is to formally nominate the candidates for President and Vice President for  the Presidency and Vice President offices of the United States of America..
The party platform will also be adopted and the unity will be sealed for the campaign.

The speakers at the convention last evening, were high powered folks from First Lady Michelle Obama, Sen. Cory Booker (NJ) to Sen. Elizabeth Warren (MS) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (VT) - Presidential Candidate, plus other well known and respected individuals.

There were lengthy roaring and applauses for Bernie when he entered on the stage before the lectern - People felt the Bern...

It was a great start. except for the Wikileaks dumping of DNC emails that were hacked from computer servers. This dumping of emails, last Friday into the public domain will cost the DNC Chair her job. She will step down after the convention.
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL) has served the country, her congressional district and the DNC honorably.
She'll be mist.

It is reported that Donna Brasile will assume leadership of the DNC after the departure of Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

It must be noted that the convention is positive, except for some unhappy folks on the floor due to Bernie Sanders unsuccessful campaign effort. We believe that the convention will end with unity with one goal, toi elect Hillary Clinton the next president of these United States of America.

History is in the making again.

I am looking forward to watch the rest of the convention and enjoy it immensely, because I do know that there is a lot to learn and be motivated by to vote come November.
