The Four T's of Turkey!!
Before Preparing the Turkey for This Thanksgiving Family Dinner, Please Follow These Four Steps.
- Thawing: Tham the Turkey in the Refrigerator for at Least Twentyfour (24) Hours for Every Four (4) Pounds of Turkey Meat Before Cooking
- Temperature: When Roasting is Assumed/Done, Test the Turkey for the Following Results 180 Degrees in the Thigh, 170 Degrees in the Breast and 165 Degrees in the Center of the Stuffing
- Two (2) Hour Storage: Leftover Turkey Should be Stored Within Two (2) Hours in Storage Containers After Cooking/Dinner
- Three (3) Days to Consume: If Leftover Turkey is not Consumed Within Three (3) Days, Freeze the Rest.
